Position Overview:

As a Conveyancer, you will be responsible for managing the conveyancing process for both commercial and residential real estate transactions. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of real estate law, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and review legal documents related to real estate transactions, including agreements of purchase and sale, transfer documents, and title searches.
• Coordinate with clients, real estate agents, mortgage brokers, and other stakeholders throughout the transaction process.
• Ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations in British Columbia.
• Conduct due diligence, including title searches and reviewing property documents.
• Manage the closing process and ensure timely completion of all necessary paperwork.
• Maintain detailed records and communication with clients regarding the status of their transactions.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in conveyancing or real estate law.
• Knowledge of commercial and residential real estate transactions in British Columbia.
• Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Proficient in legal research and documentation.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
• A valid Conveyancer License or relevant certification is preferred.
