Blog Image Product Release Feb.14

Happy Valentine’s Day 💜

We’re back with another round of GoVeyance updates designed to improve your conveyancing experience.

Powerful New Admin Reports

You now have access to three new reports with date range filtering and CSV export capabilities:

  • GoVeyance Billing Report – Instantly see what files were opened within a given date range and the corresponding GoVeyance fees.
  • Fee Billing Report – Need to track account creations? View fees, GST, and PST at a glance.
  • Account Billing Report – The ultimate breakdown of all files with accounts, including fees, disbursement totals, and applicable taxes.

User Profile Redesign

We’ve made significant updates to the User Profile (now called User Settings) to enhance usability and clarity. Here’s what’s new:

  • Streamlined Layout – Sections have been reorganized for a more intuitive experience.
  • New Integrations Section – Third-party login details now have a dedicated home, making it easier to manage external connections.
  • Expanded User Preferences – We know every firm works differently, so we’ve introduced two new options to give you greater control.

New User Preferences

  • Adjustment & Possession Dates: Automatically set both to Completion Date +1 day (GoVeyance’s default). Prefer manual entries? Simply turn this setting off.
  • Title Insurance Premium Handling: Choose whether the premium is automatically debited on the Statement of Adjustments or Order to Pay. Need full control? Turn it off to manage it manually in the Insurance Tab or set it as a static disbursement.

Adjustment Date Update on the Adjustments Tab

We’ve updated how Adjustment Dates function to ensure consistency across GoVeyance:

  • The Adjustment Date can now only be changed from the Details Tab.
  • On the Adjustments Tab, the Adjustment Date is now greyed out and uneditable.
  • Need a one-time custom Adjustment Date? Use the Prorated Adjustment feature to override the default date for specific adjustments.

Trust Account Settings for Direct Deposit

Managing trust accounts just got easier! We’ve added slider bars to Trust Account Settings, making it effortless to identify and set your default trust account for direct deposit on the Sale file:

  • New Sale File Matter Field: Your default direct deposit trust account will automatically populate in the Sale Proceeds / Charge Payouts Tab.
  • Need a different account for a specific file? Use the dropdown to select another trust account for that transaction.

Mortgage Broker Contact Type Enhancements

We’ve added three new fields to the Details Tab:

  • Mortgage Broker Company
  • Broker Name
  • Broker Fee

Plus, we’ve introduced a Referral Checkmark! Now, you can run a referral report for Mortgage Broker Company and/or Broker Name in Advanced Search.

That’s a wrap for this release! We’re always working to improve GoVeyance, so keep the feedback coming. Have questions or suggestions? Reach out—we’d love to hear from you!
