It will be about two years since I made a life-altering decision; I joined GoVeyance, a technology company, on a contract to help build their sales team and pipeline. There were only 14 employees, and the product was still in beta mode. I was contemplating retirement, and the thought of working at a start-up seemed, well, to be honest, draining. Little did I know this path would lead to one of the most exhilarating and fulfilling professional experiences I ever had.
When I started with GoVeyance, we had just launched our initial product feature – Sale Matters. Shortly thereafter, we rolled out Refinances with an option for Title Transfers. Shortly thereafter, we had Purchases up and running. The speed and efficiency with which these features were developed and implemented were awe-inspiring. It was clear that this company was on a mission to revolutionize the industry, and I was thrilled to be part of it.
As I began my journey, a common element within the company caught my attention; their commitment to the “experience”. From product to sales to customer success, the experience is central to everything we do. Every piece of feedback is meticulously reviewed and, in most cases, swiftly integrated into the program. This agile approach ensures that our software continually evolves to meet the needs of our clients. If a client has a problem, the customer success team will go above and beyond to help. Having previously worked for another conveyancing software company, the difference between the two is like comparing a Ferrari to a ferry boat—it is not even in the same category. Our commitment to innovative excellence sets us apart from the rest.
In March 2023, I transitioned to a full-time role as a Sales Development Manager and haven’t looked back since. I never expected to find my dream job at this stage in my career, but here I am, nearly two years later, part of the best team I’ve ever worked with. It helps that we are winning—in just one year since our entire product suite launched (April 2023), we have become profitable, and hundreds of firms are using the platform daily.
With this reignited passion for the Conveyance industry, retirement is now a distant thought as I continue to thrive and grow with GoVeyance.
