Ontario, you asked. We listened.
This release is built around two of the most requested features since GoVeyance launched in Ontario: Auto Save and Generate Multiple Documents As One.
Around them, we’ve added a rich-text editor for Response to Requisitions, version history for generated documents, new Trust Ledger display options, and smarter APS and Teranet Connect imports. Fewer clicks. Fewer interruptions. More control inside every file.
This release is live as of September 28, 2026.
Let’s dive in.
Auto Save
This is the big one.
Your work now saves automatically the moment you move from one topic to the next. No more clicking “Save and Leave.” No more lost entries because you closed a screen too quickly. Just enter your data and keep moving. And if something on the page needs attention, GoVeyance will flag the error and hold you there until you clear it, so nothing incomplete slips through.
Why this matters:
- Data saves the moment you leave a topic.
- The “Save and Leave” button is gone.
- Errors are caught before you move on, not discovered later.
- Faster navigation between topics in every matter.
- Peace of mind on every file.
Enter it once. It’s saved. Keep going.
Generate Multiple Documents As One
Another feature Ontario firms have been asking for.
Select the documents you need and GoVeyance combines them into a single document. In the modal, you can add, remove, or reorder the documents and give the combined file a name of your choosing. The finished document lands directly in GoBox automatically, ready to review, send, or store.
Why this matters:
- One document instead of a dozen separate files.
- Add, remove, and reorder before you generate.
- Name the combined document the way your firm names things.
- Saved straight to GoBox, audit-ready.
- Less time assembling packages, more time closing files.
Pick your documents. Generate once and be done. Stored automatically in GoBox.
Response to Requisitions
Response to Requisitions, in both the Library and the Sale matter topic, now opens in a document-style editor. Enter your response in whatever form works for you, with bold, underline, and italics, and choose your preferred numbering format. Library entries can be formatted the same way, and single-paragraph Library entries append to the end of whatever is already in the field, so you can build responses quickly without overwriting your work.
Why this matters:
- Format responses exactly the way you want them to read.
- Bold, underline, italics, and selectable numbering.
- Formatted Library entries for consistency across the firm.
- Build responses by stacking Library entries, not retyping.
Your responses. Your format. Your control.
Versions and Renaming in Generated Documents
The rename and version-history functionality we added to GoBox last release is now also available in the Generated Documents topic. Rename a document, see every version, view a prior version, or restore one, all without leaving the matter.
Why this matters:
- Rename generated documents in place.
- Full version history at a glance.
- Restore a prior version when you need it.
- Consistent document control across GoBox and Generated Documents.
Better history. Less friction.
Trust Ledger: Statement of Account Display Settings
Every firm reports differently. You can now choose how your Statement of Account information appears in the Trust Ledger through a new setting in User Setup:
- Show Total Amount only (default): the Balance from Trust appears as a single figure.
- Show Section Details: Fees, Disbursements Subject to HST, Disbursements Not Subject to HST, and Total HST each appear as itemized entries.
- Show Complete Details: every fee row and every disbursement appears individually, along with the HST total.
Each option includes a tooltip so you know what you’re choosing before you click.
Why this matters:
- Match the Trust Ledger to your firm’s reporting style.
- Set it once in User Setup.
- Clear tooltips, no guesswork.
- Full itemization when you need it, a clean total when you don’t.
Your ledger, your level of detail.
