We move fast.
Our August Ontario release is focused on giving firms more control across the file — especially where accuracy, flexibility, and document management matter most.
With this release, users can now override automatic values in the Statement of Account, edit Trust Ledger values, rename documents directly in GoBox, manage multiple deposits, print calendar views, and use several workflow improvements designed to reduce clicks and keep files moving.
This release is live as of August 20, 2026.
Let’s dive in.
More Control in the Statement of Account
Automatically added values in the Statement of Account can now be overridden.
Previously, these values appeared greyed out and could not be changed. Now, users can click the ellipsis next to an item, select Override Value, and edit or delete the amount as needed.
If a user wants to revert to the original automatic value, they can select the auto value option to restore it to the account.
Why this matters:
- Gives users more flexibility when working with automatically added values.
- Reduces the need for workarounds.
- Makes it easier to adjust amounts when a file requires it.
- Allows users to return to previously deleted items from the +Add button.
More control. Less friction.
Editable Trust Ledger Values
Trust Ledger items connected to automatic values are now editable.
Users can click the pencil icon to update the amount or description. If they want to reinstate the original automatic value, they can reopen the modal and select the auto value option.
If an automatic value has been deleted, users can bring it back using the new Automatic Values button.
Why this matters:
- Edit Trust Ledger values when needed.
- Update descriptions directly in the workflow.
- Reinstate automatic values without starting over.
- Keep Trust Ledger entries cleaner and easier to manage.
Built for real files, where flexibility matters.
GoBox Rename File + Version History
GoBox is getting an important document management update.
Users can now rename files directly in GoBox and view previous versions of documents when available. If needed, users can also restore a previous version and replace the current version.
All GoBox entries now include an Actions menu with options like Rename and View Versions.
Why this matters:
- Rename files directly in GoBox.
- View previous document versions.
- Restore earlier versions when needed.
- Keep document history easier to manage.
- Improve document control inside the matter.
Better document control. Right inside GO.
Multiple Deposits
Users can now add multiple deposits to a matter.
They can also choose how those deposits appear on the Statement of Adjustments — either as one itemized adjustment or as separate adjustments.
Why this matters:
- Supports matters with more than one deposit.
- Gives users control over how deposits appear.
- Reduces manual adjustment work.
- Makes the Statement of Adjustments more flexible.
A cleaner way to manage real-world deposit scenarios.
More Workflow Improvements
This release also includes several practical updates across Ontario matters.
Calendar Printing
Users can now print calendar items by selecting one or more individuals.
Create Document Groups
A search bar has been added to Document Groups so users can find documents faster.
Create Checklists
Checklist task fields are larger, support word wrapping, and allow users to move tasks up and down the list.
Property Updates
New Surveyor’s Name and Survey Date fields have been added, with document parameters created for both. Municipality can also auto-populate when the city is a direct match in the municipality database.
Teranet Connect Updates
If no deleted instruments are available, the checkbox will be greyed out with a tooltip. Name Search will also provide a dropdown when multiple Sellers are entered into the matter.
Insurance Updates
The insurance start date now defaults to the Closing Date, and Guaranteed Replacement Cost has been added as a Coverage Type option.
Statement of Adjustments Updates
Users can now choose whether to add HST to Prorated Adjustments and Other Adjustments.
Small updates. Real workflow impact.
