We move fast.

June brings another big release to BC. This one is focused on saving time, reducing clicks, and giving firms more control inside every file.

The hero of this release is ID Verification, built directly into GoVeyance with support for both FCT ID Verification and Treefort. You don’t have to use it. But for so many reasons, you should.

With ID Verification in GO, users can send requests, track status, manage reports, and import ID details directly into the matter.

Less back-and-forth. More visibility. A cleaner workflow. All features will be live on June 15th.

Let’s dive in.

ID Verification, Built Into GO

ID Verification is being added directly into GoVeyance with access to both FCT ID Verification and Treefort.

Users will be able to send an IDV request from inside a file matter, with request buttons placed beside the appropriate party; Buyer, Seller, Borrower, or Authorized Signatory, depending on the file type.

Each request will populate into a dedicated ID Verification dashboard, where users can search, sort, filter, and track status in real time.

Why this matters:

  • Consistent fraud mitigation in every file: Reliable client identity verification across every transaction to help reduce exposure to identity fraud.
  • Quick and convenient: Clients can securely upload and verify their identity documents from their smartphone in just a few minutes through Bluink’s eID-Me app or Treefort.
  • Secure and privacy-minded: Once verification is complete, your clients maintain control of their verified identity information through a secure digital wallet stored on their mobile device.
  • Strong identity validation: Advanced facial recognition technology, combined with document verification against multiple trusted data sources, including credit bureau and mobile account verification, helps strengthen identity validation and reduce fraud risk.
  • Complies with FINTRAC, BC Notary Society and Law Society ID Verification guidelines.
  • Send IDV requests directly from a matter.
  • Set a default preferred provider in User Preferences.
  • Track every request from one dashboard (coming soon).
One dashboard. Two providers. A better IDV experience.

Side-by-side CPS, CIR, and Tax Certificate Viewing

We’ve also improved CPS, CIR, and Tax Certificate Imports.

Users can now view their uploaded CPS, CIR, and Tax Certificates onscreen during the import process, making it easier to compare information while importing data into GO.

Why this matters:

  • Review the CPS, CIR, and Tax Certificates import screens at the same time.
  • Validate information before importing.
  • Check data accuracy at a glance.
  • Reduce unnecessary back-and-forth.
Better visibility. Better imports.

Current Year Property Tax Updates

Users now have more control over Current Year’s Property Tax scenarios.

GoVeyance can debit both Buyer and Seller and pay the Current Year’s Property Taxes when needed.

Users can also add current year taxes directly to the Buyer’s Statement of Adjustments in one click. GO will calculate the net amount, display the description onscreen, and add the City or Municipality payee name.

Why this matters:

  • Fewer clicks.
  • More control.
  • Faster Statement of Adjustments workflow.
  • Less manual setup.
Less clicking. More control.

Default Title Insurance Provider

Users can now set their default title insurance provider in User Preferences.

That preferred provider will appear first in the Title Insurance tab, while still giving users the ability to select a different provider when needed.

Why this matters:

  • Less scrolling.
  • Fewer repeated selections.
  • Faster title insurance workflow.
  • More control over user preferences.

Set it once. Save clicks every time.

Enhanced Search

We’ve enhanced Search and Advanced Search to make it easier to find what you need faster.

Quick Search will now show when more possible matches exist, helping users know when to move into Advanced Search for more accurate results.

Why this matters:

  • Better visibility into search results.
  • Faster access to the right file or contact.
  • Clearer prompts when more results are available.
  • A better search experience overall.

Find what you need faster.

GST – FTHB Rebate Calculations

We’ve streamlined how you handle First-Time Home Buyer (FTHB) exemptions inside GO. Simply select the “Buyer is eligible for FTHB GST Rebate” radio button on the Property tab.

GoVeyance will automatically calculate the GST, Net GST, and GST rebate based on current guidelines, presenting an instant calculation preview onscreen

Why this matters:

  • Eliminate complex tax processing and ensure absolute accuracy automatically.
  • Review and validate the exact rebate breakdown before finalizing data inside the matter.
  • Push calculated data directly to the Buyer’s Statement of Adjustments tab without extra manual typing.
Zero manual math. Complete calculation control.
