We’re back with a BIG release featuring an industry-first game-changer and an Accounts re-design that will save you time, improve efficiency and accuracy, and reduce manual workarounds. Because the experience matters.
These features will be live as of February 16th, 2026.
Let’s dive in.
Private Lending
This is an industry first; no other Canadian platform offers this end-to-end private lender workflow. We’ve incorporated the private lender workflow into GoVeyance from Funds In to Funds Out. What was impossible is now possible, saving you 30 to 60 minutes per file.
Private Lender workflow: Funds In.
- Record lender contributions automatically: Enter fractional interest amounts on Mortgage Tab > Tenancy, select Show Lender Contribution Amount on OTP, and the fractional interest numerator automatically maps to the Debit/Credit Tab, Order to Pay (OTP), and Trust Reconciliation—skip the manual entries. Added bonus, the fractional interest maps to the webfiling Form B mortgage, one entry, two tasks!
- Investor funds for MIC mortgages: Add a record of investor funds (including debits/credits) that flows into the Debit/Credit Tab, OTP, and Trust Reconciliation.
- New Lender Investor tab: A dedicated tab for lender files (when you need it), with intuitive calculations built in.
Private Lender workflow: Funds Out
- Split payouts by registered lender name: Seamlessly issue separate trust cheques / charge payout amounts to each lender on your OTP and Trust Reconciliation. No more duplicate entries and manual per diem calculations (deal with fractional mortgage interest in minutes).
- Validate additional payouts at a glance: Clear visibility to quickly confirm payout breakdowns. Investor funds for MIC payouts: Add investor funds to MIC payouts (including debits/credits) flowing into the Debit/Credit Tab, OTP, and Trust Reconciliation.
- New Payout Investors tab: Validate investor entries at a glance with cumulative totals displayed directly on-screen.
- Real mortgages, real validation: Built-in validation reduces the need to use a calculator, delivering real accuracy and real-time savings.
Accounts Redesign and Updates
- Drag & drop reordering (Accounts tab within file matters): Need to reorder items within a section? No problem. You can now drag and drop line items directly in the Accounts tab.
- Inline editing for fees and disbursements: Quickly edit specific line items for fees and disbursements right within the matter’s Accounts tab—less clicking, more flow.
- Automatic calculations (no more separate save boxes): Applicable taxes and the Total Amount Paid now auto-calculate as you work.
- Less scrolling: We’ve added collapsible sections (“shutters”) to reduce top-to-bottom scrolling, built from your feedback.
- More intuitive template edit calculations: Edits made to a template within a file matter will now calculate more intuitively, making changes easier to validate as you go. No more pop-ups asking if you want to re-calculate, because of course you do!
Additional Feature Releases: Important to Note
- The Charge Payout tab has undergone a huge overhaul. Starting with some simple label changes that make sense, a new Total Payout column for those charges that are being removed from title and adding more actions available to you within the ellipsis for certain types of charges.
- Charges with more than one registered owner are now displayed in a shutter beneath the first registered owner’s name.
- The Associate a Charge menu has been moved to the ellipsis, with an intuitive display to make it easier to choose a charge to associate or unassociate.
- The Mortgage Broker section has been moved and improved. The new location of the Mortgage Broker section is within the Mortgage Tab – why? It was a make-sense move! You can now add and associate a mortgage broker to a specific mortgage, plus add multiple mortgage brokers if necessary.
We are hosting two webinars, so you have options to review these features in action. Choose what day works best for you.
